  1. What is Takehome® Seller/Server and how does it work?
    Takehome® Seller/Server is an interactive video course for TABC certification of persons that sell or serve alcoholic beverages. The course involves a student viewing course information on video and taking intermittent quizzes either over the internet, with a supplied computer modem, or by telephone.
  2. Is Takehome® Seller/Server approved by the TABC for certification?
    Yes, it is approved.
  3. Where can I complete the course?
    The course can be completed from any location, at any time of the day. All you need is a TV, a VCR/DVD player, and a telephone or internet access.
  4. How long is the course and how long do I have to finish it?
    The course is four hours in length, just like any other Seller/Server course. A student has 5 hours to complete the entire course.
  5. How do I get my certificate and how long is it good for?
    Certificates of completion from the TABC are mailed out within 5 business days of successful completion and are valid for 2 years.
  6. How do I re-certify when my Seller Server card expires?
    A student must complete the course again for re-certification.
