How does Takehome Traffic School® work?
All you need to take the course is a television, a VCR/DVD player and a telephone or computer with internet access. This unique, self-paced system is designed to make everything about California traffic school easier... and far more entertaining.
Our home program is actually a series of instructional video sessions hosted by comedian Jeff Altman. They are tied together with comedy clips, hot pop music and special guest appearances by some of television's brightest stars.
Follow the simple setup instructions, then kick back, grab a snack and get to work! You can take breaks at your own discretion, and you have up to three evenings to complete the course. This is by far, the most flexible and convenient way to attend California traffic school while juggling the demands of a busy personal and professional schedule.
The course begins with some basic instructions on how to complete the program. After each session, you'll be asked to access the Takehome® system, via a telephone or computer with internet access, for a series of traffic safety and validation questions. At the end of the course there's a final test to take, and when that's done, so are you! Just pack up and return the equipment to the store to receive your grade.
