How do Takehome Defensive Driving and Takehome Traffic School work?

All you need to take defensive driving at home is a television, a VCR/DVD player and a telephone or computer with internet access. This unique, self-paced system is designed to make everything about traffic school easier and far more entertaining.

Our home defensive driving program is actually a series of instructional video sessions. We have designed this defensive driving course to be both entertaining and informative. You will be introduced to advanced driving concepts, as well as basic driving improvement techniques.

Whether you're taking defensive driving online or on DVD, follow the simple setup instructions, then kick back, grab a snack and get to work! You can take breaks at your own discretion, and you have up to three evenings to complete the course.

The DVD begins with some basic instructions on how to complete the program. You'll be asked, periodically, to access our online system for a series of traffic safety and validation questions. You can access this system using a telephone or computer with internet access. At the end of the course there's a final test to take, and when that's done, so are you! When you've successfully completed our course, just pack up the tapes and return them to the store to receive your grade.
